Cultural Events

In 2010 Bochum, the so-called European Capital of Culture, hosted people from all over Europe for one year and thus had the opportunity to show off the city’s and region’s cultural diversity to its visitors. The cultural events taking place in every corner of the city and the region still await all visitors to the city and are characteristic of a region on its way to becoming a new kind of cultural metropolis.
