Doctorate

The Hochschule für Gesundheit Bochum (hsg) promotes and supports young scientists with their doctoral projects. As a university of applied sciences, the hsg currently has no right to award doctorates. It is nonetheless possible to work on a cooperative doctorate together with a university. Cooperation with various universities and faculties in the field of cooperative doctorates is possible.
An important scientific cooperative venture of the Hochschule für Gesundheit (hsg) is the cooperation with the doctoral student centre (DOZ) of the Department of Special Needs Education and Rehabilitation of Faculty I: School of Educational and Social Sciences at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg. The DOZ is an interdisciplinary institution of the University of Oldenburg for the promotion of young scientists. This cooperation primarily takes place in the areas of research and cooperative doctorates.
