University council

In accordance with the constitution, the university council consists of seven members who are or have been active in responsible positions in society, especially in the realms of science, culture or the economy, and who, on the basis of their extraordinary knowledge and experience, can make a contribution to the achieving of goals and tasks of the university.

The members of the university council are appointed by the Ministry for a period of office of five years. The university council advises the presidium and provides oversight of its management of business.
